Biosolutions Zealand is a regional business lighthouse initiative under the Danish Board of Business Development. It supports companies working with biosolutions and green biotechnology with potential for testing, scaling and commercialisation.

The programme may be relevant if you:

  • Work with biosolutions, biotechnology or green production methods
  • Need to mature a solution from idea to market
  • Want to strengthen development, testing, scaling or commercialisation
  • Want to become part of a strong ecosystem for green innovation

Our role:
We help you sharpen the strategic and commercial foundation of the project, ensuring the solution is strongly positioned in relation to development, partnerships, market opportunities and further funding.

Novo Nordisk Foundations

The Novo Nordisk Foundation supports projects and initiatives within three focus areas: health, sustainability and the life science ecosystem. Funding is awarded both through individual strategic initiatives and open calls, each with its own purpose, academic focus and requirements for applicants and projects.

The programme may be relevant if you:

  • Have a project that matches a specific open call from the foundation
  • Work with research, innovation, education, health, life science or sustainability
  • Want to develop new knowledge, technology, methods or solutions with clear impact

Our role:
We help you identify the right match between your project and the relevant call and develop an application with a strong focus on academic quality, relevance, impact and feasibility.

The Team

Thomas Bjerre
Founder and CEO

Worked with business strategy, innovation, and capital since the early days at the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs, later leading to executive positions at The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation and the Innovation Fund Denmark. Founded Innvite ApS in 2019 and has never looked back. Has been a keynote speaker at two innovation conferences hosted by the European Commission in Brussels and Paris.

Educational Background:
Master of Political Science (Cand.scient.pol.) from Aarhus University, a Master’s in Communications from the University of Copenhagen, Journalism for Information Officers from the Danish School of Journalism, and Executive Programme, Harvard Business School.


Sarah Guldager Wilstrup
Senior Fundraising and Communications Consultant

Specialised in language and communications with four years of experience in Horizon Europe, Eurostars, and the Innovation Fund Denmark. Expert in graphic design, particularly creating graphic content for public funding applications.

Sarah is primarily responsible for content development and the website, as well as Innvite’s involvement as a project partner in two ongoing ICT-AGRI-FOOD projects.

Educational Background:
Master of Arts (Cand.mag.) in Art History from the University of Copenhagen.

Helena Grundt Hansen
Fundraising and Communications Consultant

Specialising in strategic communication and dissemination with strong expertise in project management.

Helena has experience developing grant applications for programs such as Eurostars and the Innovation Fund Denmark. She excels at transforming complex issues into clear and targeted messaging.

Educational Background:
Master of Arts (Cand.mag.) in Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen.

Freja Poulsen
Communications Consultant

Specialising in strategic communication, partnerships, and business development within startups and social innovation projects.

Freja has extensive expertise in complex stakeholder coordination, project structuring and developing collaborations across disciplines and perspectives.

Educational Background:
Master in Business Administration and Corporate Communication, specialising in Social Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School. Agile Project Management from Compass Lean Academy. Digital Coordinator from KPI Communication.
