Alba Health recieves an Innobooster grant from Innovation Fund Denmark for the development of a groundbreaking gut microbiome test for children, designed to uncover health insights.

Alba Health was established in 2022 by founder Eleonora Cavani, who has a strong background in biotechnology and has six years with Boston Consulting Group as a project manager.

The gut microbiome test is developed specially for children aged 0-4 years. It is based on the understanding that within the first years of life, we develop the foundations of our future health. This includes the development of our immune system, metabolism, and brain cognition, with the gut microbiome playing a crucial role during this period.

Numerous studies have linked the gut microbiome to health risks such as chronic disorders and various other symptoms.

The vision for Alba Health is a world where chronic diseases can be prevented and addressed, driven by microbiome science and artificial intelligens.

Eleonora Cavani has previously received an Innofounder in 2022 from The Innovation Fund Denmark.
